Services and Rates

Listed below, you’ll find our standard services and the prices to match. All taxes are included.  We do NOT charge extra for holiday visits, number of pets or oral meds. Payment is expected in advance of your departure.

Standard visits include feeding, water, playtime & exercise, love & attention,  home security checks, newspaper & mail collection, plant & yard watering,  litter box cleaning, and alternating indoor or outdoor lights. All of our services take place at your home; we are not set up to offer kenneling, or board for horses/livestock.

At Sandia Pet Sitters, our customers (and their people) are our #1 priority! We consider every  “standard” visit we make to be a “customized” visit; but if you have a different idea about what you’d like from us, please let us know. We’re more than happy to tailor our services to your specific situation.

Inclement Weather Policy

We highly recommend that you leave us an emergency number for a trusted neighbor, friend or family member who can take care of your animals or home if it is not possible for us to get there.

During bad weather we will do our utmost to continue to service your pets. (Cross-country skis have been mentioned…and those ice-pick things that attach to the bottoms of hiking boots.) We’ve got a 4-wheel drive truck, so snow and ice are “no problem”! Until they are, that is. Sometimes, especially in the East Mountains, our roads simply become impassable. If we absolutely cannot get to your place, we will call your emergency contact and make arrangements to have them take over the care of your animals or home until we can resume service.
